Types of Filter Cartridges

Air Filter Cartridges: Used to remove dust, microorganisms, and other contaminants from the air; commonly found in HVAC systems, air compressors, and various air purification equipment.
Oil Filter Cartridges: Primarily used to remove impurities from liquids—such as lubricating oil and hydraulic fluid—thereby protecting mechanical equipment from wear and tear.
Water Filter Cartridges: Employed in water treatment processes to remove suspended solids, bacteria, and other contaminants from water; widely utilized in fields such as drinking water treatment and industrial wastewater treatment.

Working Principles of Filter Cartridges

A filter cartridge typically consists of a cylindrical housing and one or more internal filtration elements. These filtration elements may be composed of paper, synthetic fibers, metal mesh, or other porous materials capable of intercepting and adsorbing solid particles as fluid flows through the cartridge. As the fluid passes through the filter cartridge, solid particles are captured by the filtration elements, while the cleansed fluid flows out.
